Staff were friendly, but this was the most disorganised hotel we stayed at during our trip to Turkey.

Spectacular views. Exploring the island was delightful. Beautiful pool.

Upon arrival at Kinaliada, no assistance was available to transport us from the port to the hotel, leading me to haul a heavy suitcase up to the hotel. It seemed like the hotel was not fully prepared for our arrival. The pool was not ready for use on our first day, but once it became available, we thoroughly enjoyed it. The restaurant was lacking milk, resulting in basic morning tea and coffee. There was no bread on the first morning, making breakfast somewhat disappointing. Improved air conditioning in the room would have been beneficial as well.

Excellent stay, comfortable room with a beautiful view. I would stay here again.

Beautiful pool, very helpful staff always attentive to our needs.

The only thing I didn't like was that it was very far from the main street on the island. It was a very steep 20-minute walk to get to the resort, and you needed to take iron cabs, which were hard to find.

Delightfully relaxing

The hotel is located in a beautiful location, overlooking the sea, on the quiet, car-free island of Kinaliada. The hotel building itself is charming, a traditional wooden house, and small enough to make you feel like a guest and not a number. When we were there, at the beginning of July, there were hardly any other guests, so we often had the pool to ourselves. The connection to Istanbul city is excellent, the restaurants in the village are delicious, and the landlady was very friendly.

The only downside - which of course is not the hotel's fault - is that there are a lot of seagulls on Kinaliada, which also continue to scream at night. This is not a problem when they do it at a distance over the sea, but regularly the seagulls were on our roof or on our balcony - and when they start screeching then, you are guaranteed to wake up.
