The location of the hotel was really very good. Public transportation was easily accessible. Unfortunately, we initially booked a budget room and were shocked by how small it was – hardly usable even for one person. After one night, we upgraded to a larger room for an additional charge. This room was significantly nicer and more spacious.
Unfortunately, the bathroom was not clean at all. There was still urine and remains from the previous guest in the toilet, and the sink was dirty as well. I had to disinfect and clean everything myself. This was absolutely unacceptable for us.
The breakfast was also a big disappointment. Many of the dishes seemed old and not fresh. After one breakfast, we even had stomach problems and did not use the already paid breakfast for the remaining days. Therefore, we cannot understand the many positive reviews about the breakfast at all.
The staff was friendly, but overall we would not book this hotel again. For this price, there are much cleaner hotels with a much better breakfast in Sirkeci. Unfortunately, our stay was a mixture of positive and negative experiences.
