The location of the hotel was really very good. Public transportation was easy to reach. Unfortunately, we initially booked a cheap room and were shocked at how small it was - barely usable even for one person. After one night, we upgraded to a larger room for an additional fee. This room was significantly nicer and more spacious.
Unfortunately, the bathroom was not clean at all. There was still urine and residues from the previous guest in the toilet, and the sink was dirty too. I had to disinfect and clean everything myself. This was absolutely unacceptable to us.
Breakfast was also a great disappointment. Many dishes seemed old and not fresh. After one breakfast, we even had stomach problems and did not use the already paid breakfast for the remaining days. Therefore, we cannot understand the many positive reviews about breakfast at all.
The staff was friendly, but overall we would not book this hotel again. For this price, there are much cleaner hotels with a significantly better breakfast in Sirkeci. Unfortunately, our stay was a mix of positive and negative experiences.
