The staff is friendly.
The hotel is well-located (bus and train stops are right next to it and a 15-minute walk from the Blue Mosque and other attractions).
There are plenty of restaurants nearby (I recommend Nasip et Kebap—the food is excellent, prices are affordable, and the waiters are extremely friendly).
The bed is comfortable. The air conditioning works without the key card, so it could be left running even when we weren't in the room.
Although the hotel is nicely decorated, it is clearly very poorly maintained. Cleaning is very superficial. The windows are dirty, the wardrobes and drawers are dusty, and the bed linen is old, wrinkled and had hair on it. Towels were changed daily but were old. Although the hotel has three WiFi networks, connection frequently drops.
The bathroom was also very poorly cleaned. The shower is full of mold.
Breakfast is okay but could be more varied. Some of the food is not fresh.
There is a rooftop terrace that—if renovated and cleaned—could be a perfect addition to the hotel because the view is great. However, it currently has two tables, few chairs, and is dirty and covered with withered plants and seagull droppings.

The owner of the accommodation is so friendly and accommodating. He knows the area very well and shares all information with his guests. The hotel, the location, cleanliness, and above all the rich breakfast are unbeatable.
