Great location.

Pleasant

Location of the property was good. Located near restaurants and shopping. Easy to get around on the Ram to the Mosque and the river.

Property needs some refreshing. It needs some maintenance done to make the apartment more appealing. A bit run down.

Disappointing when you think you have a view of the Bosphorus!

The location is very good. Very pleasant neighborhood.

The presentation photo on Booking is misleading!!! It suggests that there is a terrace with a view of the Bosphorus.

Bordering on fraud

We decided to spend more than the average for a house with a terrace as shown in the pictures. I have visited over 30 countries, spending from 5 euros per night to 500, and these have been the worst spent in my life.

We were accompanied by a friend of the host, who never showed up, to a ground floor apartment. We were told that the terrace in the pictures was part of another unavailable apartment and was just for show that they had received an award (I wonder how). The apartment was on the ground floor facing the street. Well-furnished and corresponding to the photos, but lacking the terrace that would have justified the price. The garden had been left in terrible conditions. Realizing the situation, we asked to cancel and the girl told us that we could only spend the first night, paying for it, and then change accommodation. After booking the other house, the owner wrote to us that he would take all the money and that his friend did not understand such matters. In fact, we were forced to stay, also losing half of the money from the house we had booked. Moreover, he withdrew from an ATM three times separately, adding high commissions to the already exorbitant price.

The breakfast set was embarrassing: I attach a photo of the milk. No coffee, no tea.

No sign of the Turkish delight promised in the description, no sign of the transport card either.

To calm down, I decided to take a shower, only to see the shower head detach from the wall and fall on my feet as soon as I turned on the water.

The owner replied “We will fix it as soon as possible”, needless to say, he didn't do so in the following three days. For 100 euros per night, I took a shower holding it with my hands.

Nonexistent guest care, a very ugly conclusion to a trip in a stunning land, with fabulous hosts. Not all, though…
