Pleasant
The hotel is new, externally good, even very good, starting from the entrance, reception, lobby, and ending with the rooms. The renovation is fresh, new furniture, clean bedding, new sanitary ware. Free internet. All these advantages complete the picture.
We did not like the location from the very beginning, the metro is not as close as indicated in the description and reviews. The way to the metro is a solid climb, so coming back to the hotel you run uphill, and when you leave the hotel 'enjoy' the heat climbing up. We were in Istanbul for tourism purposes and getting to sightseeing locations was far away.
We had breakfast included. The breakfast was a 'buffet' style, if you can call it that. The choice was limited, many people, if you come late, there is a chance to stay without breakfast. The 'hot' items (crepes, fried sausages) were always cold, for all three days it was only this, and on the fourth day there was nothing at all. The coffee was regular with sachets like in hotel rooms.

Clean & friendly!
The receptionist was extremely friendly and also a very pleasant person. We felt welcome at all times and we really didn't miss anything.
Even though the location really should be 'close' and central, it is very uncomfortable due to the steep streets. One really has to walk a long way uphill. Therefore, I don't know if it would be suitable for families.
