Single plus hotel:

Accommodation - Taksim Square.

In close proximity to institutions / shops / restaurants / subway stations.

Everything else does not match the declared category, prices and expectations.

Throughout my travel experience to Istanbul (4th visit) - this is the worst hotel experience.

We reserved a panoramic room in the hotel - Super Deluxe (45 sq.m) with a panoramic view of Istanbul, for 2 people, and fully paid for the stay in advance through Booking.

❗ Upon arrival, without any prior notice, they placed a sign in front of our room stating it was 'unavailable' and unilaterally switched us to another. There was no prior notice from the hotel or Booking about the switch, and no one asked for permission to do so.

At the reception, we were informed that the 'better and more expensive' room was not true. They provided us with a smaller room layout for 4 people, with two small bedrooms instead of one spacious accommodation with panoramic windows that we booked. The configuration of the rooms significantly differed.

After addressing the reception, the female staff behaved unprofessionally and disrespectfully, even though the problem was not our fault. The male staff were more courteous.

The next day, we were offered to move into the reserved room, informing us that:

- there were issues with heating in the room

- they could 'relocate us again' upon request.

The last 2 nights of the stay were uncomfortable due to heating issues.

In reality, the Super Deluxe room was in a poor condition:

- The heating was not working (Three fully charged batteries only)

- The air conditioner in heating mode was inefficient

- The room was cold, damp, uncomfortable

- The towel dryer was cold - towels never dried, moist

- The holes in the ceiling

- Dirty smudges on the walls, detached wallpapers

- Out of three bulbs in the bathroom, only one was working properly

- Audible noise

- Overall room condition - neglected!

During the entire stay, the staff never checked whether we were warm or if everything was okay. After a conflict, the attitude was openly cold and uncomfortable.

За весь час проживання персонал жодного разу не поцікавився чи нам тепло, чи все в порядку. Після конфлікту ставлення було відверто холодним, було некомфортно.
