Very Good

location

Best central location

We were very well received by the entire staff. The breakfast is perfect. The location is even better. I recommend it to everyone who wants to visit the other tourist spots in Istanbul, everything very close.

Istanbul with friends

We were two friends travelling with a 16-year-old girl and boy. We arranged our airport transfer with the hotel, which was excellent. The driver gave us lots of information about Istanbul and local landmarks. The transport was very comfortable with complimentary water. We arrived late at the hotel and were greeted by two friendly male reception staff.

We also met the friendly hotel cat called Sushi.

We went to our room. We chose twin rooms. The bedding was clean and fresh, and the bed was comfortable. There was complimentary water in the room provided daily and also a little gift hanging on the door one day. That was a lovely touch.

The rooms were very clean. The shower had hot water with no issues, and the shower gel and shampoos had a great smell.

We were on the fourth floor. There is a lift you can use. There is also a small terrace with views over to the mosque.

Breakfast is downstairs in a small room. Everything was available: fruits, cheeses, meat, etc.

After breakfast, we ventured out, and the hotel is literally one street away from the Galata Tower. It is in the perfect location, with so many places to eat and drink right on your doorstep. But the street that the hotel is on is very quiet.

The closest metro station is Sishane. This is just a few minutes' walk away. We bought an Istanbul kart and topped this up at the station, and this was a really cheap way of getting around. We used it to go to all of the tourist areas.

All of the staff in the small hotel were very friendly, and a shout out to Simin, she was very friendly, professional and polite, and she also sent us daily WhatsApp messages to check that things were going well.

Checking out was easy, and we then used the metro to get back to Istanbul Airport, which was very straightforward and very cheap.

I would definitely use this hotel again.

A full-length mirror would have been useful in the bedroom.
