The location in Karakoy is very good. Many cafes, restaurants, and bars nearby...
I was in Istanbul for the Europa League Final and wanted a relatively central hotel, but I was very disappointed with the room. It was musty, lacked basic hygiene (toilet and bathroom not clean, also the floor, etc.), extremely dirty toilet seat, no soap in the dispenser, one roll of toilet paper (I had to buy more; also soap), broken shower hose, water did not drain properly, the garden view is a construction site view (so I was awakened by construction noise in the morning), and so on... just not nice. And for that, the price is still too expensive even with the host's discount and booking.com.
