The hotel is located on the pedestrian Istiklal Street. Always lively and interesting (our room faced this street - that's how we booked). The street is noisy, it can be loud until 1-2 am. It wasn't a problem for us. The bathroom is very exotic - directly in the room, separated by a curtain. It may disturb many. It's not a separate room as we are used to, just a cabin right across the bed. Breakfasts are similar every day, but very filling. The cafe where breakfast is served is just across the hotel, you just need to cross the street.
The hotel doesn't have an elevator, only a steep spiral staircase. Carrying luggage upstairs, well, I'd say it's another challenge. Fortunately, Riza, the receptionist, helped us. A huge thank you to him. There are 2 elderly women among us. Another downside - we booked 2 separate beds. When we woke up, there was one large bed in the room and for some reason Riza said we had to wait until tomorrow for them to separate. We did it ourselves, he only brought a second set of linens. It's very strange that he couldn't arrange or prepare the room for us as confirmed with 2 separate beds. We consider this a hotel downside!

Perfect location, we were on the most iconic street of Istanbul. Reza was extremely helpful, he helped us with luggage, he walked us to our transfer, he was helping us with everything we asked.
The only problem that you could experience is absence of elevator
