Very Good

The reception was very good and excellent. Mr. Mohammed, the reception and breakfast employee, was outstanding in terms of value.

There are no private parking spaces.

A genuinely warm welcome and excellent location were unfortunately overshadowed by unsatisfactory cleanliness.

The location was excellent, and we received a very warm welcome from the manager/owner. They were extremely kind and welcoming, offering us tea and a small snack, which left a delightful first impression.

However, things took a turn for the worse as soon as we entered the room. Firstly, finding the hotel was quite challenging, as the entrance was actually through the restaurant.

The most concerning issue was the cleanliness of the room, which was below acceptable standards. The walls were covered in greasy handprints and stains, which was frankly revolting. In the bathroom, we even discovered used toilet paper under the sink cabinet.

Upon trying to go to bed, we realised that the bed was not properly made with sheets. When I raised this issue at the reception, I was initially informed that the room would be cleaned 'tomorrow'—despite our scheduled checkout the next morning and our immediate need for a clean bed that night.

After some discussion, they eventually agreed to provide a clean sheet for the blanket, as I had lost hope for a thorough cleaning at that point. Unfortunately, the sheet they delivered had noticeable stains. While it may have been washed and just permanently stained, given our prior findings in the room, it was extremely challenging to feel at ease or trust that anything was sanitary.

I ended up sleeping while minimising contact with the bedding and checked out early the following morning.

It is disappointing because the welcome was truly lovely, and the owner created an excellent first impression. However, fundamental cleanliness and fresh bedding should be the bare minimum in a hotel. Regrettably, based on our encounter, I would not choose to stay here again.

Great stay in Kadikoy

The location is great. Small room with a 'French style' balcony. Comfortable bed, staff was helpful even though English was not the strongest. Overall a great stay. Would recommend.

The toilet seat was loose, and the air conditioning was making a loud sound so we had to turn it off in order to sleep, which meant a long sweaty night. But everything else was fine and I would definitely stay there again
