A disaster of an apartment. My worst experience with Booking.

The only good thing is the location in Sultanahmed, a 10-minute walk from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia.

Our room was in a different building from the hotel reception.

The apartment is on a very hidden street in Sultanahmed where cars can hardly enter, almost impossible to find with GPS. In fact, the first transfer did not find it and left us at another hotel with a similar name that was not (Hagia Sophia Apart), and on the second transfer to the airport, the driver had to speak several times with the reception staff to find the street, and we almost arrived late at the airport.

The name of the apartment has changed 4 times in less than 5 months (according to the notifications received from booking). The reception employees said it was Booking's problem and could not explain why there was so much confusion with the name, which still does not match the one indicated at the hotel entrance. It took them several minutes to find my reservation, made since February.

Very old apartment, comfortable mattresses but no bedside tables. There were chips on the ceiling of the living room, the kitchen furniture was broken, and the bathroom was very old and filthy, the shower tray was dirty and sandy. Luckily we only stayed one night and didn't shower. We wouldn't have been able to stand another day there. The staircase wall to access the apartment had exposed pipe holes, as if it were under construction, giving a very bad impression. It looked like a slum building.

It has been the most unpleasant experience I have ever had in an apartment booked on Booking. If we do not receive compensation for all the inconveniences suffered, from now on I will choose other options.
