Convenient location and welcoming service. Enjoyed a lovely breakfast on the upper floor.
There was mould in the shower in the bathroom.

Very good service, they helped us with everything we needed. The air conditioning was not working properly and they changed our room. We booked a Bosphorus boat tour with transfer service, everything was very good.
Very good location just a few meters from the shopping street near the Galata Tower.
The breakfast has very few sweet options.

Great staff. Amazing breakfast. Convenient location near the Galata Tower and subway station. There are also several bus stops nearby, including the HVIST-11 bus stop, which you can take from IST airport.
There were some issues with the Wi-Fi connection one of the days, but nothing major

All staff members were friendly and nice. Pre-trip communication was smooth and arrangements were straightforward.
Check-in process was smooth. The room was spacious and clean. Room service was prompt. Upon arrival, the mini fridge was not working, but a replacement was quickly provided. All other requests were also promptly fulfilled.
The breakfast buffet was good, though more variety would be appreciated. One highlight was the terrace; despite the somewhat limited view, having breakfast in the pleasant early morning weather was really nice!
For a nice, affordable hotel in Istanbul city centre, close to Istiklal Cd. and Taksim Sq., yet away from tourist crowds and noise, Galata Greenland is a great choice, particularly in their price range.
The hotel is near Galata Tower, so the uphill alley leading to it may be challenging for families with children or seniors.
One minor issue was the occasional cold water in the shower, but this only occurred very early in the morning.
