All is well. Quiet in the courtyard - this is very important. In the center of Istanbul - a rarity

Very Poor
If you want your trip to Istanbul to be ruined, choose this hotel. Cockroaches, dirt, everything covered in dust, can't touch anything. There were 3 of us. The third person slept on the sofa. The sofa collapsed like paper in your hand. Luckily, no one got hurt. We booked the BEST room with a balcony, but they didn't give it to us, claiming that even without a balcony, we would be fine. I must also mention the staircase. If your shoe size is not 36 or smaller, putting your foot on the step will be impossible. But I will also mention in the end that we arrived at the agreed time, but there was no one to meet us. We waited for an hour and a half at the door, and then hungry and tired, went to eat pizza and use the Wi-Fi. Only after an hour and a half of calls and messages, they responded and checked us in. AND ANOTHER THING!!!! There was no water for a whole day.

Very good 7
Pleasant
The hotel is in a fantastic location, near shops and restaurants. The reception staff were very attentive and accommodating, and they graciously let me check in early when I arrived in the morning.
I think the hotel could do with a refurbishment.

Good 6
Mediocre, but in a great location
The location is the best feature of the accommodation, right in the middle of the maze of streets, antique shops, cafes, and restaurants that make up the Cukurcuma/Cianaghir areas at the top of the hill overlooking the Bosphorus. Easy access to both the Istiklal area, Taksim square for metro, tram, and ferry lines on the Bosphorus shore.
The apartment is far from the neat appearance shown in the photos. The kitchen is cramped into the hallway and poorly equipped. Most sockets are loose, and one is completely pulled out of the wall, barely held in place with sticky tape. It is in need of a renovation, and until then, its location and below-average price are its only positive points. Beware of a very narrow and steep spiral staircase - carrying suitcases to the middle/top floors will be challenging.
