I had a 1-person room on the ground floor of the other building, very close to the hostel, and it was excellent. The mattress was as good as the one I have at home, the room was spacious and clean, the bathroom and shower were fine. There was a fridge and air conditioning. The only thing it lacked was a TV, which I had no use for anyway.
Also, the women in the kitchen were great and breakfast, while the same every day, was very nice.
The location is top-notch. Nearby everything you'll want to see in the old city. I did everything on foot.
Highly recommend.
At 43, I was definitely somewhat outside their target audience. Most other visitors were backpackers in their early twenties, which made me feel a bit of an outsider. Due to no one's fault of course, except of father time.

DanilaA friendly, comfortable hotel room with a great atmosphere and an excellent location.
The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they always organised social events that made it easy to meet other travellers. The hotel room had a great atmosphere, was clean, and its location was perfect for exploring the city's main attractions. As a solo traveller, I felt comfortable, safe, and included throughout my stay.
I didn't have any complaints. Everything met my expectations, and I had a very enjoyable stay.
