The location was pleasant with friendly reception staff. The price was acceptable.
The issue is that the description of the budget double room did not specify clearly that the room is located in a basement without windows. I was genuinely disappointed. The photos in the listing showed a window, but it was deceptive as that window was facing the basement hallway! (Our room didn't even have that one window, which in my opinion is preferable). The reception staff couldn't provide assistance because they claimed it was stated in the booking, but I thoroughly checked all confirmation emails and found no mention of it. Therefore, it's advisable to verify with the property before booking to avoid unexpected surprises. Even the booking support was unhelpful. In my view, the lack of transparency regarding the provided conditions is a significant issue. It is essential to accurately advertise that the room is situated IN A BASEMENT!
