Does not deserve to be listed on Booking

Only the hotel's geographical location is good.

1) The layout of the apartment (sold as a 'suite' with only one room) did not match the photos on the booking site and the actual living area was significantly smaller than advertised, measuring 32 to 35 m² compared to the advertised 43 m².

2) The building did not at all correspond to the photo on the website.

The facade of the entrance as shown on the website appears to have been colored. The roof under which the rented apartment is located shows that the building seems to have been raised (unjointed breeze blocks), with a roof made of breeze blocks and sealed like a 'garden shed'. Let's not even talk about compliance with seismic standards!

3) - No communication was possible with the person present, except in Turkish;

- She did not respond to our request to bring us toilet paper and we had to go downstairs and upstairs 5 floors to get some;

- She came up (on foot) only grumbling to find that the hot water was just lukewarm (after letting it run for several minutes);

- The WIFI was not working at all even though we absolutely needed it;

- There was no remote control for the air conditioning (it was hot because this apartment is under a poorly insulated roof);

- The furnishings did not match the quality depicted in the website photos. The site shows multiple photos of furniture (handles) or decorations suggesting modern furnishings when everything is worn out.

+ 2 armchairs advertised, but only 1 present

+ 3 chairs advertised in the kitchen area, but only 2 present

+ Rusty hot plates with detailed instructions only in Turkish! The website photo shows a brand-new hot plate!

We left the apartment one hour after our arrival and found a much cheaper and better hotel nearby as a replacement. We requested a full refund from Booking, but so far without success, but we are not giving up.

It was terrible! What a joke this was!

That it is close to the city center, a few minutes walk from Istiklal caddesi

Everything, but absolutely everything!
