Overall, the location was fantastic, but after my experience, I wouldn't choose to stay here again.

The location was great, but the hotel disappointed me due to poor maintenance, cleanliness, and service. I had pre-booked and paid for my room two days before my arrival to ensure it was ready upon my arrival. Sadly, my flight was delayed because of cancellations, and I had informed the hotel beforehand about my late arrival. Yet, upon arrival, I had to wait for about an hour because there was no English-speaking staff present, and my room was still being cleaned, although it should have been ready.
Upon entering the room, I found dirty, stained towels, no proper blanket, bedding that didn't seem clean, and mold near the entrance. The room had various maintenance issues, such as a broken toilet seat that wouldn't stay up and kept falling on my back, a faulty light switch, and a kettle that was hard to use because of the inconvenient placement of a power outlet. The bathroom lacked ventilation, and due to the shower being directly over the toilet with the drain on the opposite side, the entire bathroom floor would get wet after each shower.
I repeatedly asked for fresh towels and a blanket, both in person and through Booking.com, but my requests went unanswered for 2 days. The front desk was frequently unmanned, making it challenging to seek assistance, and I never got a reply to my messages on Booking.com. Although the English-speaking staff member eventually provided what I needed and was courteous, the lack of communication and slow response was frustrating. As a solo female traveler, I felt uneasy because groups of men often loitered in the lobby, calling out as I passed by, which impacted my comfort and sense of safety.
The hotel is conveniently located near shops, restaurants, cafes, and many of Istanbul's main attractions, like Hagia Sophia and the Grand Bazaar, allowing easy exploration of the city.
