Exceptional

The location is perfect. The owner, Nesrin, was very helpful with advice and support. We will return.

Nice apartment located 50 meters from the Blue Mosque.

Very good location in the Sultanahmed district. The apartment is on the 2nd floor, although technically it will be the third (the 1st is considered zero). The top floor is accessed by a not very convenient narrow spiral staircase, which can be a problem for people with limited mobility. The apartment itself is very small, but well-equipped, with everything necessary from a frying pan to an iron, including all utilities. Particularly pleasing was the presence of two fire extinguishers and a fire alarm. Ideal for a group of 3 people, 4 may feel a bit tight. The hostess of the apartment, Nesrin, met us at the entrance, showed everything, and also arrived for check-out. A pleasant sweet surprise awaited us at the check-in. Throughout all 8 days, Nesrin constantly inquired if everything was okay with us, quickly resolved issues with the air conditioner. We have never had such a welcoming host :)

We lacked kitchen accessories. A higher quality electric kettle and a couple of frying pans with lids would have made this accommodation even better.

A gem in Sultanahmet

Location: It can hardly get any closer to the most important sights. It's a luxury to stroll around the corner to the Blue Mosque in the evening, and it looks amazing in the dark. The steep street is relatively little traffic, so you are largely spared from the usual honking concerts.

Staff: In all our travels, we have never experienced a landlady who took care of her guests so diligently. From personal welcome to farewell. Thank you dear Nesrin - you are an absolute reference. The owner of the pizzeria is also extremely friendly and accommodating. And his Iskender Kebap is definitely worth a visit.

Facilities: The apartment is lovingly furnished and fully equipped. Only a microwave is missing, but you definitely don't need one in Sultanahmet. On the other hand, the large refrigerator with freezer and the Turkish coffee maker are great. We immediately ordered one for home...

Comfort: The beds are very comfortable and the windows have good soundproofing. The bedroom is located away from the street and we could sleep peacefully, even though we are sensitive to noise. Even the muezzin could only be heard quietly. For guests traveling as a trio: The third bed is in a room facing the street and next to the bed, a water heater rattles quite loudly. The bathrooms are not large, but everything works. We cannot judge the air conditioning because it became cool in the evening, so we didn't need it.

Cleanliness: Perfect. WiFi: Perfect.

Conclusion: Unreservedly recommendable for two people - we would book again immediately.

Absolutely no points of criticism - it was truly exceptional.
