I would rate this hotel 2/5 at best, and that's being generous. While the property itself looks decent in photos, the way the staff treats guests feels disappointingly exploitative and unprofessional.
The upselling tactics were particularly shameless. They tried to sell a non-alcoholic mojito for 150 AED (around 40+ USD) — an absurd price for a mocktail with no alcohol. Even more annoying was receiving a phone call after midnight while we were already asleep, waking us up just to offer the hotel's massage center. This level of disturbance is completely unacceptable.
The worst experience was at breakfast. The buffet had just ended by about 5 minutes when my wife asked for a coffee. Despite coffee clearly being part of the included breakfast buffet and still being available, the restaurant staff insisted we pay for it separately. It felt petty and greedy, especially after we had been staying at the hotel.
These practices give the impression that the hotel is more interested in squeezing every last dirham out of guests rather than providing genuine hospitality. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and respectful stay. There are much better options in the area that don't treat guests this way.
