We loved our stay at Grand Erken Hotel. The location in historic Kaleici is perfect, the Ottoman-style building is beautiful, and the garden dining area is a lovely spot for breakfast.
The entire staff was friendly, but Ahmad went above and beyond. He is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful at any hour. When our private taxi failed to show up at midnight for our flight to Copenhagen, Ahmad arranged an airport transfer for us in just two minutes. He literally saved us from missing our flight! We highly recommend this hotel.
