Below Expectations

The hotel looks nice from the outside, though it shows signs of wear. The plumbing requires repairs, the furniture is old but comfortable. The staff is polite and helpful, I communicated in English, as they do not know Russian. There is an elevator available. Breakfast is served on a plate with the same items every day: egg, vegetables, a slice of cheese with sausage, plus other small items, instant coffee, and tea. I stayed in two rooms, on the 4th and 1st floors. The reason for this is that there is Wi-Fi only on the ground floor, in the reception area, as specified on Booking.com, which I missed. Upon check-in, this was disappointing, and after two days of waiting, I was moved to the first floor, where the signal was slightly better. The premises are clean and thoroughly maintained.

It is noisy outside at night as the hotel is situated along the road, so everything is audible. The primary reason I chose this hotel (aside from its proximity to the beach, just a 3-minute walk away) was the pool. The staff informed me that it is not filled due to cooler temperatures. Therefore, anyone visiting not in the peak season (I was there from April 19 to 29), should expect that the pool isn't really operational, and it is very small.
