The rooms are spacious and reasonably clean. A big advantage is that guests of Akra V can use all the facilities of the main Akra hotel without needing to travel anywhere else. The location is also very convenient for a holiday - there is a shopping mall nearby, many cafés and restaurants, as well as a nice walking and cycling path along the coast.

The hotel definitely feels quite tired and in need of renovation. The staff's English level is quite limited. If the price was lower, it would be understandable, but considering the rates charged, I expected fresher rooms and a more welcoming level of service.

I would also like to mention the way the rooms are advertised as 'sea view'. This can be misleading because you expect a proper sea view. Yes, you can see a small part of the sea in the distance, but in reality the main view from the rooms is the busy main road. The traffic noise is very loud throughout the day and night.

I would not recommend this hotel for light sleepers, as the noise can seriously affect your ability to rest.
