KatjaIt was pleasant and improved.
It's a stunning hotel with a delightful pool area and the historic town is brimming with charm. The staff are extremely friendly and always willing to assist.
The beds are indeed very firm and there is a nightclub nearby.
MargaretFabulous facility but with noisy neighbors that made sleeping almost impossible. I would recommend it if you're a partygoer.
I enjoyed staying in the historic district. It was great to have my room close to the pool. The room is beautiful, spacious, clean, and wonderful. The breakfast was fantastic. The Concierge was excellent; I could check in early and easily move rooms when joining a tour group. The staff made sure it was a great experience.
What I disliked about the property was its proximity to a nightclub. The music started at 8 PM and lasted until 2 to 4 AM. Even when I changed rooms, the street noise was very loud. The music was great if you're 20 and into clubbing, but not if you're trying to sleep.
