Nice room. We were away from the disco and elevators, so it was very quiet. Beds were firm and good. Lovely with a variety in the buffet, with different themes every evening. We never managed to book in the separate restaurants, as it simply wasn't necessary.
Most of the staff were sweet and service-minded. Super cool and well-executed shows in the evenings and the opportunity for good trips out of the hotel. The Turkish hammam is definitely worth a visit. We also booked massages during our stay, and their masseur Sri was absolutely fantastic.
Lazy river is super nice to paddle around in. We suggest keeping it open one evening, and having lights standing between the stones. That could be awesome.
Nice with some fast food when lying by the pool and not wanting to dress up nicely to go to the restaurant, and pretty good music.
Offer to go to Havana Beach club one afternoon, where there was cool music and the opportunity to swim at Kleopatra beach. Remember water shoes.
There were plenty of lifeguards keeping an eye.
Most of the waiters really want to make an extra effort to provide the absolute best service, and they greatly appreciate an extra tip.
We were really happy with Hamza at the Aqua bar. He provided a superb service and worked hard every single day, so thank you for that.
One receptionist was a bit rude and not very service-minded. So the first impression started poorly.
The restaurant is not super clean, but with all the people passing through, we can easily see that it can be difficult to keep up.
Down by the lazy river, you can get some small water served in small plastic buckets. They are everywhere and the kids use them in the pool to spray cold water on each other. However, the fact that there are so many plastic containers and lids around, which do not find a trash can, but instead float around or get tucked between the stones. It's annoying to see.
There are too many people in too little space. There could easily be another pool area to spread out the crowd a bit.
The hotel may be 4 stars but it needs a makeover. There are many things that need tightening with some screws and a bit of paint.
There are many attempts to extract extra expenses from the guests. Everything from photos at sunset, to massages, and attempts to push extra services onto one once you have booked.
The cleaning was decent. Nothing outstanding. However, we experienced that the cleaning staff smoked in the corridors, so sometimes it smelled bad.
The elevators have a life of their own and are not at all geared to handle so many people.
