Good 6

Definitely not up to the 5 star hotel as it states.

Room was spacious and comfortable ,food was great quality, swimming pool was nice.
Service was bad because instead of assisting they tried to avoid you, cleaning definitely was bad and it seems no one wiped dust or even hoovered or moped the floor. A hotel of Kempinski reputation no one spoke basic English even from lady in red from beginning didn’t speak proper English and she didn’t explain proper about the hotel rules and restaurant à la carte how it works.

Highly recomended - a must for those seeking relaxation and escape from their busy lives

Everything was lovely! but something we particularily enjoyed was the atmosphere. It wasnt crazy busy or loud as it can be in some resorts. This made our stay very relaxing and more personal. Staff were friendly and always very helpful. We got very plesantly surprised when we got upgraded from the family room to the Lagoon suite. So unexpected - and it definately made our stay at Kempinki extra special. Thank you!
This aside, food was varied and quality was great. My husband is a chef and i havent heard him complain even once. We loved the a la carte restaurant and always looked forward to breakfast to start the day.
Pool was amazing and the water was warm so we never hesitated getting in when needed to cool off or to simply enjoy some coctails at the pool bar. Plenty of lounges to sit on as well which were nicely spread out - and didnt feel like guests were 'sitting on top of each other'. Waiters were always around , even at pool side so there was no need to go to the bar every time we fancied a drink. They were polite and it was no trouble at all.
Room service - attentive and fridges were always fully stocked up.
Live entertainment - loved the lady playing the piano at dinner times and live music in the evenings were a nice way to end the day.
Lovely spa area, very clean and relaxing but treatments were a little on the expensive side.
Transport - limited, mainly to yellow taxis.
