Subject: Urgent Complaint – Request for Full Refund for Invalid Hotel Reservation

Dear Booking.com Customer Service,

I am writing to make a formal complaint regarding my booking at Park Marina Hotel, Kemer, Antalya, Turkey.

Booking Confirmation Number:6539879007

I booked and fully paid £116.26 for one night's accommodation through Booking.com. I received a confirmation email stating that my reservation was confirmed.

However, when I arrived at the hotel at approximately 10:00 pm on 7 August 2026, I was informed by the hotel reception that they had no reservation under my booking number or my name. The hotel staff also told me that they no longer have any business relationship with Booking.com and do not accept reservations made through your platform.

As a result, I was left stranded late at night in a foreign country, without accommodation, despite having a confirmed and fully paid booking. This was an extremely stressful and upsetting experience and completely unacceptable.

Because Booking.com failed to provide the accommodation that I paid for, I am requesting:

A full refund of £116.26.

Reimbursement of any additional costs I incurred because I had to find alternative accommodation at such a late hour.

An explanation as to why Booking.com continued to sell rooms at a hotel that, according to the hotel staff, no longer accepts bookings through your company.

I have attached copies of my booking confirmation and can provide any further evidence you require.

I expect this matter to be resolved promptly. If I do not receive a satisfactory response within a reasonable time, I will consider escalating my complaint through my bank for a chargeback and to the relevant consumer protection authorities.

I look forward to your urgent response.
