Friendly staff

I liked the free water and tea and I like the location.

That sometimes the tea ran out.

Absolutely dreadful, revolting and grimy.

The only positive was the helpful staff doing their best.

The place was horribly unclean. It seems like it wasn't properly cleaned since the previous stay. Upon entering the room, there was a disgusting smell. Upon further inspection, we discovered rotting food inside the bin that had not been emptied. We had to clean it ourselves.

The bed linen was terribly dirty with hair and dirt stains everywhere. When we asked for it to be changed, we were given a sheet and two pillowcases to change by ourselves, but they were damp from washing and not dry. We had to sleep on wet bedding as it was late and we couldn't do anything about it.

The shower room drain was blocked and started filling up during use.

The location was convenient with most main attractions within walking distance. The reception staff member was helpful. Those were the only positive aspects.

It's a budget hotel so high expectations shouldn't be had, but more effort could have been put into cleanliness at the very least.
